Dear Clerks and Recorders,

As we have finished Institute and Academy I am reminded of the im-portance of continued learning. We were able to acquire knowledge in order to expand our skills, which are important for us now in our current po-sitions as well as future opportunities.
Amit Nagpal, Master Trainer says there are 7 ways lifelong learning will benefit you:

  • Remain relevant by keeping up to date with trends and adapting your skill set.
  • Prepare for the unexpected, it will help you adapt to unexpected changes.
  • Boost your profile and you will grow in your career and start to receive recommendations from colleagues and managers.
  • Competence leads to confidence and you'1l feel more ready to take on challenges.
  • Spark new ideas unveiling new opportunities and help you find innova-tive solutions to problems.
  • Change your perspective and you open your mind and change your attitude by building upon what you already know.
  • Pay it forward helps you with your leadership skills, which then are translated into fostering lifelong learning in other individuals.

I noticed so many wonderful things happening at Institute and Academy and it was heart-warming. I noticed you helping each other out with ques-tions pertaining to different circumstances in your jobs, making a new as-sociate feel welcomed, and basking in the training you were receiving. I am so lucky to associate with so many talented, kind, mentoring, fun, hap-py and upbeat women and men. That is just part of what I see in all of you. Keep it up, learning is fun.
